The eCommerce Digital Capabilities/Systems Manager will support Nestle USA’s strategic business plan and “must-win” focus on eCommerce growth. The manager will lead our digital shelf capabilities-building, automation, AI and retailer syndication systems (Salsify).

This leader will drive direction for a team, designing the strategy for our systems, and working cross-functionally to streamline across multiple teams and stakeholders, both internal and external. You must have passion to find and deploy best practices for the management of content and information data, and passion to bring new automation, AI and capabilities in innovative ways that drive value to the business.

Previous manager-level experience is required and previous experience working with Content Management Systems, specifically Salsify, Syndigo other DAMs and large data sets is preferred.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create the digital systems capabilities strategy for eCommerce B2C, across product information, digital shelf and eB2B

  • Build and roll out the automation and AI strategy for eCommerce

  • Envisage the future of the capabilities, the tools needed to win in the future, and the know-how and drive to stand them up internally

  • Oversee best in class content syndication processes, systems and agencies/partners

  • Build strong relationships with cross-functionals including technical, market and global teams; influence the zone and global for best-in-class outcomes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, or other related field

  • 2+ years of professional experience required in CPG or retail industry

  • 5+ years of Digital Commerce and/or data management experience preferred

  • Previous experience with Salsify / Content Management Systems or large data sets is required

  • Advanced expertise with Excel functions

  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

  • Some knowledge of and/or basic understanding of web-based layout/design programs

  • Creative thinking, problem solving, and the ability to innovate

  • Exhibits flexibility, open-mindedness, and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment

  • Personal interest in Digital Commerce and data management
