Your job in a nutshell:

As a Junior Batch Scheduler Operations Specialist, you will have the responsibility to maintain the Workload Scheduler application lifecycle, by installing, configuring, and updating existing and new Workload Scheduler applications, on a hybrid environment.

You’ll be also responsible for supporting business users, translating functional requirements into technical and actionable work.

What will you be doing:

• Support business users with scheduling tasks and job workflows within the Workload Scheduler application

• Manage the installation, configuration, and updates existing and new Workload Scheduler applications

• Ensure tasks and job workflows are properly maintained and run at scheduled times

• Create documentation on Workload Scheduler configurations and operational procedures

• Monitor system performance, track task execution, and diagnose any issues or failures

• Respond to performance problems or to any issues that may arise within the Workload Scheduler system and take necessary actions to resolve them effectively

• Works with product or platform teams to ensure good coordination of IT changes without impacting business processes.

What will make you successful:

• Proficiency in configuring and administering Workload Scheduler components, and agents running on a hybrid environment

• Good understanding of job scheduling concepts, dependencies, and tasks running in SAP systems

• Ability to working with Agile methodologies

• Effective English communication skills (written and verbal) to clearly communicate across the organization

• Very good communication skills

• Initiative and good learning abilities

• Root Cause Analysis mindset

• Linux and Scripting skills would be considered an asset

• Consistent Cloud knowledge.
