Position Summary

The development of the eCommerce Channel is a key growth driver for Purina.

We are looking for a qualified Direct To Consumer Manager to join our eCommerce team.

Reporting to the eCommerce Channel and Customer Manager, you will own and drive the overall DTC end-to-end business model, acting as single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for all the topics related to the italian Direct-to-Consumer portal (https://www.purinashop.it/).

A Day in the Life of the eCommerce and DTC Manager:

• Plan, develop and guide the implementation of our Direct To Consumer Strategy in line with business objectives, ensuring a significant YoY growth;

• Define investments across all areas of digital marketing, monitor and analyze the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and optimize them to drive sales;

• Drive and coordinate internal and external resources to meet objectives & deadlines, among the most important:

a) Manage the fulfillment and IT partner, negotiate its partnership terms, design and execute the development pipeline and monitor their processes;

b) Work closely with our digital and marketing teams to improve the customer journey, develop loyalty campaigns and effectively gather and use CRM data;

c) Liaise with IT, Sales, Customer Service and legal teams

• Analyze customer data to identify sales trends, shape the business demand, optimize the store and spread insights within the organization;

• Optimize the customer journey based on analytical data and ensure conversion improvements on site;

• Implement customer loyalty strategies and loyalty programs;

• Manage the DTC P&L in coordination with the Finance & Controlling team;

• Proactively engage with the international Direct To Consumer community to create synergies, share best-practices, and drive the solution design guaranteeing coherence and full alignment with the overall IT architectural ecosystem and the international Direct To Consumer Strategy.

• Collect customer feedback to improve products and services.

What will make you successful?

We're looking for someone that has analytical and strategic skills, enjoys multitasking and focused on results. Someone entrepreneurial and passionate about eCommerce and its ecosystem

• Bachelor's degree preferably in business, marketing, or other related fields. A master's degree is a plus

• 4+ years of experience in e-commerce, especially in the management and implementation of website projects

• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities

• Familiar with web analytics tool, online advertising and CRM management

• Knowledge of administrative/accounting processes;

• Fluent in English.
