Nestle B2B Business Operations Manager in Brussels, Belgium

Position Summary

As B2B Business Operations Manager you will be fully responsible for the management of the BeLux B2B back-office team seated in our HQ in Anderlecht.

Your team consists of three Sales Support Specialists with whom you take the full responsibility on the administrative back-office tasks. Those are mainly linked to the commercial activities of our sales force in Belgium and of our partner in Luxemburg.

Besides this, you also play a crucial role in the broader business growth by actively participating to projects that aim to get to a more customer centric and highly efficient operating environment.

As head of the team, you coach and motivate your team members individually as well as during your monthly meetings. You monitor closely the team's service level, their activities and accuracy and support them in their development through regular evaluations and action plans.

Important: this role is for a fixed-term contract until the end of 2024

A day in the life of a B2B Business Operations Manager

  • close monitoring of your team on activity rate, accuracy and efficiency

  • support the team in performing their main tasks (eg. contract creation and management, database cleaning, product creation, management of payment platforms, …)

  • work closely with and listen to your people, understand their drive and motivation, challenge and motivate them to give their very best and to develop them

  • be creative and pro-actively come with improvement ideas

  • contribute to B2B projects (eg. launch of new machines, new rebate scheme implementation, new after sales service contracts, …)

  • ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience

  • communicate effectively with all departments involved in the B2B business (commercial, marketing, supply & demand planning, accountancy, delivery & installation etc.) and respect deadlines

What will make you successful

  • master degree in Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Economics or equivalent

  • 3-5 years experience in B2B is a strong asset

  • proven experience in team management and/or back-office support management

  • good communication skills in Dutch and/or French and English

  • good interpersonal skills

  • entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter and proactive

  • ability to motivate and develop your direct reports

  • stress resilient
