Key Responsibilities:

• Supports the governance and operational aspects of Business Discretionary Projects Portfolio

• Indirectly ensures Project Portfolio Budget relates directly to financial targets (managing sub-project portfolio in value > 150 moi CHF annually)

• Defines & Applies Projects Portfolio Management Methods and Processes within supported sub Project Portfolios (i.e. 3-4 sub project portfolios)

• Process Scope covering multiple Business units coupled with multiple Functions and markets.

• Ensure the planning and actual transparency of 500+ projects across supported sub Project Portfolios

• Understands interdependencies between various programs and projects across overall project portfolio

• Ensures on time and in budget, value delivery through selected projects and program

• Ensure the Business Services Discretionary Portfolio (program and projects) is managed according to defined Governance and Projects Portfolio Management Processes.

• Categorisation of Programs/Projects in alignment to the business strategies

• Prioritization of initiatives to establish an optimal mix and sequence of projects and programs to maximize value delivery

• Balancing the use of resources across projects and non-project work

• Ensuring decision makers get the information they need to make decisions

• Optimization of the value and benefit generated by the portfolio

• Evaluation and management of portfolio risk management

• Supports definition of business strategy for given sub portfolio in collaboration with the Function Head, Zone Management, Key Markets ManComs and Business Services and IT Leadership team

• Delivery the portfolio by work closely with the relevant Functions and Business partners to analyse specificities and support needs

• Work with the senior portfolio leaders, program and project managers to understand the resource needs of each project/program (i.e.: skills, expertise, timing) and coordinate resolution of resource conflicts

• Maintain the integrity of the globally prioritized projects in line with both the group and market strategies. Ensuring these can be planned, supported and executed in line with standard Project Portfolio Management Practices.

•Balance needs of ongoing processes (functional / operational) with resources to support the programs/projects in the portfolio based on changing business/functional needs, resource capacity constraints, risk exposure, and interdependencies; provide information on any constraints that may affect portfolio planning and execution

• Drive flawless execution of relevant segment of the portfolio by being responsible for NBE Portfolio delivery metrics including successful analysis and management of financials, schedule, resources and benefits realization

• Assesses current and planned projects/programs on a routine basis to recommend the optimum resourcing

• Plan and assign work for team members

• Negotiate resource demand and resolve capacity issues

• Support strategic decision by providing full visibility via solid and regular reporting on the actual and detailed status of Implementation Programs.

Required Profile:

• +8 years Knowledgeable and Operational experience of managing a GLOBAL Projects Portfolio with 1000+ Projects

Strategic Planning

• + 8 years of experience creating and managing work teams

• + 6 years of experience taking care of the financial management of the portfolio

• Value based project prioritization

• Business case and benefit management

• High Level Resource Capacity Management

• Portfolio, Program and project management

• Flawless Communications skills

• Can Define and Implement Projects Portfolio Management, covering Processes, Technology, Organization, Shared Services and Data.

• Has credentials equivalent to those of a PMI certified PM.

• Has external certification in Management Of Portfolios (MoP), Management of Value (MoV)

• Can navigate and align challenging stakeholders

• Effectively communicates across organisational boundaries
