The Specialist position supports IT North America through the vendor lifecycle, including demand planning, sourcing, performance management, governance, financial management, risk management and relationship management.
This position plays an active role in supporting Product Managers, IT leaders, and IT Vendor Management Specialists through our transformation to deliver and integrate with a select group of strategic partners.
Job Responsibilities
Align and promote the IT North America Vendor Management strategy and sourcing models within Nestle IT North America
Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including NA IT Leadership, IT resource management, product management, procurement, Global Procurement, IT Finance, OCIO transversal teams, strategic partners, and vendors
Leverage global contracts, improvements, and the selection of appropriate service delivery models
Determine the IT criteria for partner selection, supports the procurement selection process, and the scope-related part of the negotiation for large and complex contracts
Raise sourcing request and collaborate with procurement and other sourcing stakeholders
Track performance metrics, vendor spend, and other related targets
Participate in monthly and quarterly operational reviews with strategic partners
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor´s Degree
Fluent English conversational skills
1+ years of experience supporting vendors, vendor performance, and vendor SLAs
2+ years of IT experience and understanding of technology acumen
Ability to travel to Arlington, VA and St. Louis, MO USA required (10-25% during a year)
