Gatwick (Hybrid 2-3 times a week in the office)

Salary up to £56,000 depending on experience + car allowance + potential bonus + generous pension + 25 days annual leave + 12 additional flex days off on top of annual leave and two paid volunteering days!

Position Summary

Here at Nestlé Professional, we are currently recruiting for a talented individual to join us as an Online Pure Players Business Manager reporting into our Sales Director. This is a great opportunity where you will be a respected leader within our Sales function and Nestle Professional business.

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and will be a part of a team based in our Crawley office where you will share the value of open communication to generate impact and return towards our common goals. This exciting position will be responsible for driving sustainable and profitable organic growth performance via Amazon and other online pure players.

A day in the life of a Online Pure Players Business Manager …

Ultimately, you would lead the adoption of a digital first portfolio strategy within Nestle Professional. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Create comprehensive account plans and strategies for consistent and sustainable target achievement.

  • Develop actionable E-Comm insights by linking market dynamics and customer/industry knowledge.

  • Establish key customer and industry contact strategies.

  • Build internal network and stakeholder matrix.

  • Provide input into the MBS/ICP process.

  • Align online pure players portfolio plan with NP's Channel/Category priorities.

  • Develop customer-specific proposals and plans based on customer insight.

  • Manage commercial planning process, identifying gaps and contingencies across portfolio.

  • Take full accountability for customers' P&L, including revenue, spend, market share, digital shelf KPIs, and profit targets.

  • Create E-Comm annual plan with a growth mindset.

  • Develop category strategy and plans, including marketing campaigns and NPD.

  • Conduct ROI analysis of customer initiatives to optimize trade spend budget.

  • Ensure all customer contacts are input and reviewed frequently.

  • Record all customer visits, objectives, and post-call results.

  • Lead Amazon & NP Pan EU AVS relationship and coordinate AVS Vendor Improvement Program.

  • Serve as the single point of contact for negotiating and executing promotions across Pan-EU markets, including Amazon Tier 1 Events.

What will make you successful

To be successful in this role, you will already have some fantastic sales and digital experience under your belt. Ideally, you will be already working in similar pure player role and have knowledge of working with Amazon.

Relationship building is key to success in this role so you should be able to demonstrate a strong collaborative approach and an excellent relationship building ability internally, externally and within multifunctional teams.

You will need to be highly organised, conscientious and a team player. Pro-activity and enthusiasm are essential elements for this role as is proven leadership capability. You will excel in negotiation, business planning, and stakeholder management across multiple markets, to drive success and growth in our online pure player business.
