Over the course of an internship with Nestlé Waters, you will gain a deeper understanding of our culture, company, and the job responsibilities for your area of study. This summer internships will be at our manufacturing and production factory in Dallas, Texas.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a participant in our 10-12 week Internship Program, you will begin an exciting journey of personal and professional development. You will be groomed for future Leadership opportunities in a fun, technical and quality-driven manufacturing environment. Technical and Production Leadership plays a key role in achieving our standards of continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence. You will gain in-depth knowledge of our daily operations and understand how manufacturing teams interact as you proceed through key rotations in our Operations and Technical Departments, as well as functional rotations in Logistics, Quality, and all support areas.
You will also have specific project responsibility in the following areas:
Develop standard operating procedures, cleaning & inspection standards, and training documents
Assist with line loss analysis and continuous improvement activities
Lead technical improvement projects including TPM (Total Performance Management), SOC (Source of Contamination), and waste reduction
Support DMAIC (Six Sigma) and problem solving activities to improve equipment reliability
Additional responsibilities as needed to support business initiatives
Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related area of study
Good academic standing, with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
Passion for community service and volunteering demonstrated by previous community service experience
Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Sound professional and personal judgement
Detail oriented with strong project management skills
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
