Nestle Technology Specialist - Webmaster in Esplugues Llobregat, Spain

In order to complete our Direct to Consumers, Ecommerce Department, supporting Nescafé Dolce Gusto brand, we are currently looking for an Technology Specialist specialised in e-commerce operations.

The role

In this position, you will oversee Web mastering activities of our Internal Agency, acting as a technical expert, you will play a crucial role in driving the resolution of the most complex incidents encountered on our ecommerce platform built on Adobe Commerce.

Your mission will be to automate manual activities and reduce manual mistakes.

Your expertise and technical knowledge will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and stability of our ecommerce platform.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate and lead a team of webmasters, ensuring efficient and effective execution of web mastering activities for each market.

  • Ensure automatization of manual activities for every deployment process and rollout of a new UX/UI template.

  • Review errors from manual tasks executed during deployment processes and work with the team to prevent them.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI Product Owner, stay up to date with new features and ensure training with Web mastering community and L2 Support

  • Participate in simple configuration deployment process in collaboration with Release Manger

  • Oversee the updating of banners, setting up promotions, and other content-related tasks.

  • Drive automation and scripting efforts to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.

  • Analyze incidents related to content and promotion management, and develop preventive measures through automation, bug fixing, or additional training for market webmasters.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of web mastering activities.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in web mastering and Adobe Commerce configuration.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Webmaster or a FE Developer, preferably in an Adobe Commerce environment working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Commerce web mastering configuration and related tools, including APIs to understand scripting possibilities.

  • Ability to create scripts with PHP (or other programming languages) to automate manual configuration activities.

  • A mindset focused on automation to eliminate manual tasks during deployment processes. #automation, #scripting

  • Logical and analytical thinking for setting up promotions using rules and conditions (If, Then conditions).

  • Experience in coordinating or leading a team of webmasters or similar roles.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze incidents and develop preventive measures.

  • Strong understanding of content and promotion management processes.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.

Good to have

  • Experience working in a large international organization.

  • Experience with the Hyva theme.

  • Knowledge of Amasty extensions.
