Be a force for good with Nestlé Indonesia by playing the role as Regulatory Scientific Affairs (RSA) Specialist responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards in the industry. This responsibility will include developing and implementing regulatory strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that products and processes meet all relevant regulatory guidelines. They act as the critical liaison with authorities in registration and audit area.

A day of life of….

  • Ensures legal compliance of product in the market including product formulations, labelling, Halal requirements and plant certification as needed, by obtaining BPOM's approval and Halal certificate for products

  • Prepare and submit regulatory submissions, including but not limited to, product registrations and special approval of claim/ingredient.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including MSD/AG, QM, I2L Lead, Brand and Legal to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met throughout the product life cycle (recipe, raw materials, product, labelling)

  • Maintain validity of registration license through out the product shelf life.

  • Lead halal certification, part of halal team member and internal halal auditor. Ensure halal compliance of materials, process, and products

  • Assist in reviewing product labelling, promotional materials and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements."

  • Perform actively radaring/influencing/advocacy

  • Stay updated on the changes in regulatory requirments.

  • Support the internal alignment on related regulation and participate in industry working groups. Participate in discussion with local authorities on specific issues"

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and act as the primary point of contact during product registration, inspections, audits, and regulatory agency interactions.

  • Involvement and Contribution in the Innovation & Renovation processes

  • Provide regulatory expertise to Cross Functional Team on certain certification needed, correct product category, claims, timeline and other queries needed for I&R pipelines and projects.

What will make you successful?

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a regulatory team or in close contact with regulatory environment or several years outside Nestlé in a regulatory team (food association, industry or governmental authorities).

  • Applied knowledge in at least one of the regulatory related topics such as, food safety, consumer information, nutrition & health, additives, public affairs or quality.

  • Knowledge and experience in nutrition, science, raw material and finished products applied to regulatory environment.
