Position Summary

As a Global Packaging Material Master Data Specialist you will be part of the newly formed and multi-disciplinary Global Packaging & Sustainability Process & Data Team. The main focus of the team and this role is the design and deployment of an optimized end-to-end Packaging & Sustainability Data process throughout the organization.

You will play a key role in this team by driving new policies and standards ensuring incorporation and consistency of the new Packaging and Sustainability Data object with the existing data objects in the End-to-end (E2E) Material Lifecycle, like Material Master Data, Bill of Material Master Data and more.

A Day in the Life of the Global Packaging Material Master Data Specialist

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the packaging data structure, hierarchy, processes, and governance to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Material Master Data, providing guidance and support to internal teams.

  • Define and monitor Packaging Data Quality and orchestrate global improvement campaigns.

  • Contribute or drive projects optimizing the consistency and reusing Packaging data in our material master data

  • Engage with end users to gather feedback and requirements, leveraging your expertise to improve our current E2E data landscape.

What will make you successful

  • Process driven mindset and Data management expertise

  • Experience and deep understanding of Material Master Data

  • Preferred: Knowledge of one or more Business areas (e.g. Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Packaging or Product Development).

  • Experience with Nestlé’s tool landscape (SAP)

  • Fluent in English.
