We are hiring Industrial Utilities/HVAC-R Technicians to join our 3rd shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for both individuals who are starting their career and those who want to continue their careers in food manufacturing. Starting pay is $33.16- $40.03 per hour, based on knowledge and demonstrated skill.
3rd shift receives $1.50 per hour premium pay.
12-hour 2/2/3 schedule

Position Summary
Industrial Utilities/HVAC-R Technicians are responsible for the service, troubleshooting and repair, and preventative maintenance of the ammonia refrigeration system, HVAC, and utilities systems. Participate in the Process Safety Management program and be a member of the factory Emergency Response team and HAZWOPER team.
Responsibilities include:
Installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing large HVAC/R equipment
Ammonia Refrigeration
Drive-in coolers/freezers
Process Glycol chillers and boilers
Steam boilers and chemistry control
Water Systems and chemistry control
Reverse Osmosis System, softeners, filters
Glyco heat exchange
Compressed Air Systems
Hydraulics Systems
Make Air Units
Maintain equipment logs and reports utilizing computerized maintenance systems
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma/GED preferred
Ammonia Refrigeration experience
Minimum of 1 year manufacturing preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience or education in HVAC/R or related field preferred
RETA-CARO certification is preferred
If not RETA-CARO certified, certification will be required within first year of employment
Company will provide course support for exam
Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
Ability to work at heights
Excellent time management
Good communication skills and teamwork with all departments
Must have basic computer skills
In addition to above, the ideal candidate will have:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine repots and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or the organization
Abide by all plant rules/policies including safety, GMP regulations and perform good housekeeping practices
Willing to perform other duties as assigned
Must be able to work in a team-based environment
