Position Summary

We are delighted to introduce this brand-new role to our expanding Nespresso Ecommerce team. Reporting directly into the Ecommerce Performance Manager, the Social Commerce Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social commerce strategies to drive sales and enhance brand awareness. There will be focus on managing product feeds, pricing, and content across platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, ensuring their alignment with commercial goals for volume growth and profitability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless social commerce experience for customers.

A day in the life of a Social Commerce Manager…

As a Social Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and execution of our social commerce strategy for UK & Ireland. You will achieve this through continuous iteration, and optimization of social commerce strategies as well as maintaining an always-on approach to maximize commercial value. Additionally, you are responsible for ensuring seamless integration of these strategies with both internal and external e-commerce platforms, collaborating with the Marketing and CRM functions internally for effective promotion execution. There will be alignment with the HQ performance team to uphold best practices in social commerce. This role will also involve:

  • Implement and manage tools for tracking customer journeys, conversions, and sales generated through social media platforms as well as analyse and reporting to measure effectiveness.

  • Ensuring creative execution is in line with brand guidelines and aligned to best practices for the platform and strategy

  • Being an expert for the business and responsible for leading workshops or training sessions to share insights and strategies related to social commerce.

  • Continue to work closely and collaborate with Nespresso HQ, media agency partners and other areas of the business such as marketing and CRM.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in social media and e-commerce.

What will make you successful?

The successful candidate will have proven experience in Social Marketing with extensive knowledge of web analytical tools and relevant platforms such at Tiktok and Instagram. You will also:

  • Be commercially minded with the ability to understand business impacts and make clear strategic recommendations to various stakeholders.

  • Take ownership in driving results whilst understanding the financial implications of business opportunities to meet and exceed goals.

  • Have experience working in self- directed, fast-paced and a result-oriented environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive results.
