Position Summary:

Support product & process development with quality and food safety while promoting quality awareness across the company

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive management of NDC Marysville equipment cleaning validation & annual verification plans

  • Provide Quality support for new line/equipment installations including Hygienic Engineering Assessments

  • Serve as Site Quality representative for Management of Change cross functional team

  • Provide/support thermal process for developmental trials

  • Drive management of assigned Pre-requisite Programs (PRP s) at NDC Marysville

  • Train & Support Good Manufacturing Practices

  • Cleaning & Master Sanitation Plans

  • Environmental Monitoring Plan-Significance of Pathogen Controls & Preventive Maintenance

  • Facility Zoning Plan

  • Support Allergen Cleaning Verifications

  • Drive Management of NDC Marysville Internal Audit Plan

  • Support food safety release of Ready-To-Drink & Coffee development trials

  • Maintain Site Quality document control compliance

  • Support Site Quality training program as appropriate

  • Active participation with audits & corrective actions while promoting Regulatory Compliance

  • Perform trend analysis for process continuous improvement and investigative studies

  • Assist Project Managers with quality management practices and project documentation

  • Comply with Nestle Integrated Management System and all other company policies and procedures

  • Active participation on appropriate Network(s), providing necessary information to facility and partners

Qualifications

Requirements and Minimum Education Level:

  • Mandatory-Minimum BS (Science Related Microbiology preferred)

  • Minimum 3 years Quality factory experience in food and beverage industry

  • Preferred thermal process experience, willing to develop skill set

  • Experience managing equipment & line cleaning validation/verification plans

  • Experience Managing Facility Hygiene Plans also preferred

  • Able to travel (<10%)

  • Working knowledge of:

  • International Organization for Standardization (ISO)/Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS)

  • Hygiene/Hygienic design

  • Statistics

  • Continuous Improvement Methodologies
