We are currently looking for a Regulatory Scientific Affairs Executive to join our Operations team.

Location: Maslak, İstanbul

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Regulatory Scientific Affairs Executive, you will have the following responsibilities;

  • Develop and maintain a solid knowledge of food and also preferably pet food regulations in her/his field of competence and share knowledge with RSA colleagues and other relevant functions.

  • Implement regulatory changes in his/her field of competence.

  • Engagement with authorities (directly or through industry associations) at national, supranational and international (e.g. Codex meetings) level by sharing credible scientific arguments; participate actively in relevant discussions at Advocacy committee/IRT.

  • Contribute directly to business growth by defining a regulatory strategy and a roadmap for the local organization: ensure regulatory developments are followed for assigned categories, and regulatory risks are assessed, communicated internally, and mitigated early enough to ensure product compliance and support business growth.

  • Manage resources across the functions to ensure credible science-based Nestlé regulatory position to shape up external regulatory framework.

  • Analyze regulatory frame and conceptualize regulatory opportunities for new product development at early stages of I&R (through knowledge of regulatory trends and new regulatory developments).

Which profile are we looking for?

  • University degree

  • Broad and global regulatory knowledge gained within the R&D businesses, markets and/or SBUs or equivalent external experience.

  • Recognized internally and externally as an expert.

  • At least 5-6 years of experience in a food or pet food regulatory environment in different jobs

  • Successfully lead the regulatory activities in a strategic project with the ability to influence and ensure understanding of regulatory affairs.

  • Established contact with external authorities and successful influencing them on a key topic.

  • Successful completion of the Functional RSA curriculum up to the expert level and proven implementation of learning through on-the-job application.
