We are currently looking for a Sustainability Delivery Manager to join our MARCOM team.

Location: Maslak, İstanbul

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Market Sustainability Delivery Manager, you will have the following responsibilities;

DELIVERY OF STRATEGY

  • Coordinate the implementation of the market sustainability strategy localising and supporting the operationalization the Global Zone/Categories strategy into a NIM (Nestlé in the Market) - market cross-functional/categories' implementation master plan and sets priorities.

  • Contributes to the Zone/Categories strategy definition by sharing local insights and proposing new projects/ideas/Trends.

ADVOCACY

  • Support internal and external advocacy that is relevant to his expertise.

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build partnerships and collaborations that support Zone Sustainability goals. This includes engaging with suppliers, customers, industry associations, and NGOs to drive collective action towards sustainable practices.

  • Be SPOC person for specific topics

CUSTOMER PARTNERSHIP

  • Supports customer partnerships together with sales teams. Support on Data exchange and sustainability questionnaires.

COMMUNICATION & CLAIM

  • Support market in preparing substantiation to support any ESG communication

  • Manage/coordinate sustainability/technical data and guidance (according e.g. packaging considerations, LCA). Be knowledgable about local constraints, impact and rules in close collaboration to legal and RSA (Regulatory Scientific Affairs). Provide guidance and approvals on claims and Comms with the above market Brand teams.

  • Provide technical input + support approval of claim communication, as required. key deliverable: approved claims that does not generate any customers & consumers feedback issues.

NON FINANTIAL REPORTING

  • Monitor key market ESG KPIs

  • Cost & benefits tracking for projects led by the market – be able to explain deviations between planned and actual

  • Implement, and deliver projects they own (e.g. circularity)

  • Support the preparation and verification of quantitative ESG data at market level for audit purposes.

  • Ensure local ESG legal requirements are met, and projects are in compliance with internal and external regulations.

  • Support all business and brands have sustainability KPIs included in their reports.

TRAINING & EDUCATION

  • Provide functional training & knowledge on sustainability, act as a sustainability role model and develop the sustainability knowledge, capabilities and engagement/business ownership both in the market across functions and in the NiMCom team- Ensure knowledge transfer to all employees incl factories with training in and apapt it to the audience.

  • Provide expertise to build training material into the functional teams ( and support delivery of the training)

  • Share & Implement best practices across functions, markets, categories

  • Bachelor degree

  • Fluent in English
