Position Summary

As a Supply Chain Project Manager, you will manage above the market Buy & Sell operations for Technical Equipment and Services orders for Nestlé Affiliates worldwide by ensuring on-time and on-budget orders, with first class logistic solutions, documentation, and stakeholder management.

A Day in the Life of a Supply Chain Project Manager:

  • Manage Technical Equipment orders (order value up to 10mio CHF): executing the procure to pay and order to cash on behalf of the Nestlé Factories, including the logistic part.

  • Manage stakeholders for an efficient communication between suppliers, transport providers, customers.

  • Provide tailored transport solutions.

  • Ensure proper follow-up of all accounting elements and establish readiness for contract closing.

  • Track delivery dates agreed with suppliers, ensuring proper Value Invoice Forecast.

  • Act as expert on export shipping documentation and related risks, as well as management of letter of credit

  • Ensure compliance principles and ways of working are followed by suppliers and customers.

  • Ensure sustainable Customer Service Operations with a best-in-class service level.

  • Monitor/follow up all stages of the order process, that impacts logistics, to ensure accurate and timely processing, including physical goods collection, quality controls (when needed), export/import documentation and billing, as per local regulations.

What will make you successful

  • Solid experience in international trade within an international organization.

  • Logistic and CAPEX knowledge is welcome.

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent.

  • Successful experience dealing with internal customers and external suppliers.

  • Experience in leading successful projects.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish, any other language is a plus.
