Nestle Demand Planner in Rhodes, Australia

As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our business.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the overall delivery of the Supply Chain functional targets and contributing to the achievement of business objectives. You will be instrumental in improving the quality and reliability of the demand plan through internal alignment with business stakeholders and external collaboration with customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our key portfolios, operating in a dynamic environment with high visibility and exposure to a broad commercial supply chain.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Demand & Supply Planning Business Partner, your role is to improve the quality and reliability of the demand plan through insights derived from internal alignment with business stakeholders and external collaboration with customers.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain a product level demand plan over an 18-month horizon in APO.

  • Consistently achieve sustainable Demand Plan Accuracy (DPA) & Bias improvement in support of improving customer on-time in-full requirements and optimising supply chain costs

  • Provide category and customer insights to enrich the (statistical) forecast models.

  • Analyse and effectively communicate relevant information to our commercial and supply planning teams.

  • Effectively collaborate across the business to bring new products to market.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in Demand and/or Supply planning, preferably within the FMCG industry.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Proficiency in SAP and APO is highly desirable.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong commercial acumen across Sales, Marketing, and Finance.

  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proactive problem solver with a proven record of delivering projects and understanding end-to-end processes.

  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
