Position Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join our Cereal Partners Factory in Staverton, Wiltshire, as a Manufacturing Capability Coordinator (Learning & Development Coordinator), reporting directly to the HR Business Partner.

As a key a member of the HR team, you will be the go-to person for planning, coordinating, and supporting training and development activities at the factory.

A day in the life of… a Learning & Development Coordinator

You will play a crucial role in ensuring that employees receive the training and support they need to excel in their roles.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance training is delivered effectively and efficiently. Maintaining associated training records, tracking employee progress and completion.

  • Coordinating training courses as required. Booking courses with external providers, raising purchase orders, and coordinating the training budget.

  • Preparing training, learning and development data for operational reviews.

  • Coordinating the induction programme to ensure new starters have a positive onboarding experience and are set up for future success.

  • First point of contact for Apprentices & Graduates, coordinating associated activities.

  • Coordinating of the factory PDR (Performance & Development Review) process. Coaching Line Managers, tracking completion and analysing training needs to inform the Factory Training Plan.

  • Supporting HR Business Partner with leadership development activities, including initiative coordination and general administration.

  • Coordinating youth engagement activities e.g., attendance at local careers events.

  • Network to stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development.

What will make you successful?

The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience in a HR, Learning & Development or Training support role. They will have the desire to learn and to grow their own career within Learning & Development.

  • Confident with Microsoft Office packages

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Have a can-do attitude, taking pride in quality work.

  • Customer focused.

  • Able to prioritise work, using own initiative.

  • Practised in gathering and reporting basic data and information.

  • Collaborative, with excellent communication skills

  • Innovative

  • Desirable: previous training / coaching experience
