Position Summary

Introducing Nestlé Purina’s new Williamsburg Township, Ohio, factory – just 30 miles east of Cincinnati. This world-class factory will be built from the ground up to produce a wide variety of some of the most trusted and beloved pet care brands in the U.S. Our passionate team in Williamsburg Township will work in an environment that values safety, the latest technology in manufacturing and a culture of learning. As a Predictive Maintenance Technician, you will use tools and technology to identify equipment malfunctions (motor, pump, gearbox, compressor, fans, bearings, etc.) before failure. You will repair findings and assist the overall Maintenance team using predictive maintenance methodologies and tactics.

This position will start out working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm as the Williamsburg Township factory is being built. As we approach operational start up, the shift options for this position will be on either 6am-6pm OR 6pm-6am, operating on 2-2-3 schedule (two days on, two days off, three days on). The first several months of this position will require up to 50% travel for training purposes to other Nestle Purina factory locations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collect and interpret data using various technologies such as infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic to identify failures.

  • Make repairs to any identified parts as necessary while coaching and directly assisting technicians on repairs

  • Use PDM technologies to help mechanics troubleshoot equipment

  • Continue education and training as necessary to keep up with the changes in PDM technology. Complete certifications on technologies with support of Maintenance Leadership. Will include on and offsite training and conferences.

  • Identify and implement improvements in safety, sanitation, product quality, costs, and equipment reliability

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • 2+ years’ maintenance experience within a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military or related environment with a focus on predictive maintenance

Other

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for training purposes to other Nestle Purina factory locations

The approximate pay range for this position is $86,000 to $103,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
